YNGWIE MALMSTEEN Singer To Guest On New PRAYING MANTIS CD

Former RAINBOW and current YNGWIE MALMSTEEN frontman Doogie White has contributed lead vocals to a couple of tracks on the upcoming PRAYING MANTIS album, titled "The Journey Never Ends". Also featured on the CD is ex-URIAH HEEP/GARY MOORE singer John Sloman.

"[PRAYING MANTIS guitarist] Tino Troy gave me a call at the beginning of [last] year and asked if I could sing a couple of songs," White recalled. "The timing was not good as I was going on tour with Yngwie. But due to the re-arranging of Yngwie's touring schedule, we were able to make time to get into the studio. It was funny to be recording with them after all this time. Of course, I can't wait to hear what John has done. I don't know who else is going to be singing on the record."

"The Journey Never Ends" is due in April through Frontiers/Now & Then Records.
